What we collect

• Booking details: your name, email, phone number, country, stay dates, number of guests, estimated arrival time, add-ons and any requests you type in.
• Payment details: card details are entered into a secure payment form provided by our payment processor, Cloudbeds Payments. Card numbers go straight to the processor; The Gulf House's website never sees or stores them.
• Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.
• Basic technical data: like most websites, our server keeps standard logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

• To create and manage your reservation, take payment and send your confirmation.
• To contact you about your stay, including texts if you opt in (see SMS below).
• To arrange activity requests you make, such as boat or jet ski rentals.
• To send our newsletter if you signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To keep our website secure and working, and to meet legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

• Cloudbeds, our reservation system, which stores your booking.
• Cloudbeds Payments and the card networks, to process payment.
• Activity operators, only the details needed to arrange an activity you requested (for example your name, phone, date and party size).
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Live drive times on our Local Guide come from Google Maps and are calculated from the hotel's address, not from your location. When you tap "Directions", Google Maps opens and Google's own privacy policy applies.

SMS messages

If you opt in, we may text you about your reservation and stay. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing.

Cookies and browser storage

Our booking pages use your browser's storage to remember your progress (dates, room and add-ons) and to pre-fill your details on your device. We don't use advertising trackers. You can clear this storage in your browser settings at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep reservation records for as long as needed to provide your stay and to meet accounting, tax and legal requirements. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop marketing messages. Contact us using the details below. Some records must be kept by law.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Reservations must be made by an adult.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
